As a result of astronomical business growth over the last two years, Avago’s storage system could no longer support the growing volume of data they generated. They were looking for a cost-effective storage solution that could easily scale with the business and data growth, yet simple to manage. After deploying Pure, Avago Technologies was able to cut its storage hardware from five racks to just one at each of its three datacenters as well as garner greater cost savings as Oracle databases were consolidated.
